May I have a coffee, please?
Hay muchas maneras de pedir un café. Aunque los españoles no somos famosos por nuestros buenos modales, es importante ser amable a la hora de pedir en un bar.
There are many ways to order a coffee. Although Spaniards are not famous for our good manners, it is important to be friendly when ordering at a bar.

El martes pasado estuvimos haciéndonos muchas preguntas hasta adivinar ciertos datos de nuestros compañeros. Aprendimos otra expresión con el verbo Tener: “Tener que ver con <algo>”. Muchos de esos datos tenían que ver con la familia, el trabajo o la casa. Last Tuesday we were asking many 
questions to guess certain facts about everyone in class. We learned another expression with the verb TENER: “Have to do with <something>”. Many of these facts had to do with family, work or home.
También corregimos otros deberes y Jane nos hizo un resumen del corto “Love story”, al que intentamos elegir otro título. Si alguno se anima a reescribir esta historia, contando algo más sobre sus personajes, con el mismo final o con otro distinto, estaría genial. Sería un gran ejercicio para practicar la escritura y aprender vocabulario. We also corrected some homework and Jane gave us a summary of the short “Love story”, to which we tried to choose a 
different title. If anyone is encouraged to rewrite this story, telling more about their characters, with the same ending or with a different one, it would be great. It would be a good exercise to practice writing and learn some vocabulary.
Luego vimos que en España no siempre es fácil pedir un café en un bar. Aquí tenemos un ejemplo. Then, we saw that in Spain ordering a coffee in a bar is not always easy. Here we have an example:
¿Recordáis el café que quiere el señor que entra al bar y que tiene un poco de prisa? Do you remember the coffee asked by the man who hurried in into the bar?

¿Qué tipos de café puedes pedir en España? What types of coffee can you order in Spain?
También vimos algunas de las tiendas que podemos encontrar en la calle y algunos productos que podemos comprar en ellas. Seguiremos trabajando con las compras en la próxima clase. We also saw some of the shops that we can find on the street and some products that we can buy in them. We will continue working on shopping in the next class.
